I swear I had not procrastinated on this that caused the delay. But my obsessive-compulsive self urged me to add a few brush strokes here and there only to be cropped later. I'm just glad I have something I could submit again, this time of my own

*** A DD! Yay! I still need to go to the office to finish off a deadline... But I'm so excited! This is a pleasant surprise! I may not be able to answer much of the comments for now but I'll go over and try to answer each one over the weekend thanks to Salvador-Rudy for the feature! and thanks everyone for the comments, watches and faves... I may not be able to answer all the time but they're always appreciated
First of all, I'd like to give you a very late congrats on the DD!! The pictures is fabulous! The time it must have taken is just amazing. The fact that it's made of coffee is awesome! Whatever gave you the idea to do that...
The color is very nice in and of itself. The textures and shading are really beautiful and the difference between the shading in the background and the shading on her is apparent and very nice.
Her expression is breathtaking! The hair is perfect and the positing of the hand on her mouth is very good. The middle finger looks a little off, but that may just be me. Her clothes are very good, too. Her eyebrows are good, but above her right eyebrow, there is a little white spot that looks a little out of place.
Overall, this is one of the most beautiful portraits I have ever seen. Your work is amazing and you definitely deserved this DD!
That is awesome. She looks really realistic and her hand is perfect! I always have trouble with hands myself, especially with painting them. And the name suits it, with the expression on her face. Which by the way, was also done very nicely. You can see the emotion in her eyes, which is very hard to do. Her hair is done well too, so that she looks a little harried (please forgive the pun) but not crazed. I also love that it's done in coffee, that's a really interesting medium. I honestly wouldn't change a single thing about this picture.
